Sundays - 9:15 - 10:00am

Sunday School takes place every Sunday morning from 9:15am - 10:00am. It is time spent in the life-altering power of God's Word.  We use the Radiant Life Sunday School Curriculum which covers the entire Bible over a seven-year period. Participants are encouraged to engage, ask questions as well as provide responses to questions asked by the teacher or other participants in the group.

Special Events & Touchpoints Throughout the Year

We want to encourage you to grow and flourish in exactly who you are created to be. Through fun events and opportunities throughout the year, we strive to create a strong community of women who can help you in your unique faith journey. Each year, we offer big events tailored just for women. Whether it’s serving together or a night just for fun, these events help connect women to God and each other. One of the best ways to grow in your faith and friendships is to regularly spend time with a group of women who share your faith. Start with attending an event, make some new friends, deepen your current friendships and grow in your faith. 

Bible Study Group (Connect via Zoom)

Wednesday Evenings - 6:30 - 7:30pm 

Led by our Pastor Emeritus, Curt Thomassen. Our Wednesday evening Bible Study Group runs from Fall to Spring and will kick-off on September 7th with a picnic at Pastor Curt's residence. Studies will begin Wednesday, September 14th at 6:30pm via Zoom.

Pastor Curt will be leading us in A Study of Two Epistles: James & Philippians. The epistle of James covers a wide variety of topics related to living a genuine Christian life and the epistle of Philippians focuses on Christ Jesus as the purpose for living, the source of joy and the hope for eternal life for all who follow Him. A book will be provided for you to follow along with the study and retain foundational truths to help you live an overcoming life in Jesus Christ.  If you are interested in joining this Bible Study group, please complete a Connect Form and we will get you connected.

Deaf Ministries

My name is Doris Thaemert and I am hearing. I work as an intervener with DeafBlind students in the public schools, but
minister at Cornerstone Assembly interpreting for the Deaf and hearing in the congregation. 

I interpret Sunday School on zoom from 9:00-10:00 AM, Sunday Worship Service at 10:15-11:30 AM and Wednesday nights on
zoom 6:30-7:30 PM. I also interpret for the small group my husband, LeRoy Thaemert, leads at different families’ homes.
Coming alongside me is Kimberly Hay, who is Deaf. She is studying to be a pastor to the Deaf and leads in the interpreting
of our music worship time on Sunday morning, as well as ministering to our Deaf parishioners. The Sunday morning services

Small Groups

At Cornerstone Church, we are committed to helping people develop deeper relationships with God, each other, and the world around us. We firmly believe that getting involved with a Small Group is one of the best ways to accomplish this!
